Released March 26, 2003 DC Comics, Color 23 Pages Revival of the Fittest Part Two Dan Abnett & Andy Lanning - Writers Alejandro Barrionuevo - Pencils Andy Lanning & Simon Coleby - Inks Jason Wright - Colors Comicraft - Letters Stephen Wacker - Editor Synopsis Part 2 of the story begins with Star Boy and Invisible Kid confer on Legion World.  Thom thinks its about whatever happened to him on Xanthu the prior issue, while Lyle and Brainy really want his opinion about the death of Ra's al Ghul, with a nice summary of what happened - namely his collision with a wall. But Brainy has a problem in that the mass of the remains don't add up properly. Shifting over to the command deck, we learn that M'Onel had retrieved Ra's without consulting Kid Quantum, who's not happy about the situation.  Gym'll lets us know that Sensor is mutating into deformity.   Back in the lab, Brainy theorizes that Ra's is now essentially sentient blood, which is why his arm regener...

Released June 5, 2002 DC Comics, Color 24 Pages Terror Incognita 3: Hypersapiens Dan Abnett & Andy Lanning - Writers Oliver Coipel - Pencils Andy Lanning - Inks Tom McCraw - Colors Mike McAvennie - Editor Synopsis Issue 8 starts in the ICU.  M'Onel is in bad shape in the OR, as the doctor's can't match his blood, nor cut into him to remove the bullet.  Triad debates with herself about telling them the truth about his Daxamite background and about him being Valor. The debate is useless, however, as Kinetix walks into the OR and shoots green energy over him - one assumes to heal him. Cosmic Boy becomes Exposition Lad, explaining the current Hypertaxis situation to their strike force and anyone who hasn't yet read the series as the moon is pushed closer to the Earth. We then get another page of exposition about the history of Ra's al Ghul and his current involvement with the Legion.  Cos finishis his speech with a nice touch. An energy surge hits them and Zoe comes out of nowhere, picking up Trudy and her cameraman (Lizu) and sprinting them out of harm's way.  Zoe is having problems holding on to the two of them while flying and crashes.  Trudy immediately recognizes her as the former Kinetix and tries to get an impromptu interview. Lizu picks up a small purple sphere when the feed goes dead.   In studio, Vigo gets us up to speed with the Footstep Lab story.  In addition to SP forces, apparently the media was there, as well, as Cos used that to speak out on the horrors of that experimentatio...

He walks down a long corridor lined with cells labeled in Interlac and Arabic letters bearing a world name and a number.  He ominously tells them that it will be the last day working.  We finally meet Gates, apparently held captive for the last year as a test subject. Darren prepares to kill Gates when the power goes out. Gates toys with Darren for a bit before popping out of a portal and clocking him, stealing his keycard. Gates pops out to find the Legion in the corridor: Leviathan (Violet), Triad and Brainy.  Ra's is overseeing the lunar terraforming platform when informed about the Footstep lab issue as he and Venge activat...

Lots of reunions, notably Brainy/Lyle, Cos/Imra/Jo and Cham getting friendly with Triad Orange and Neutral with Chuck looking on from the pilot's chair getting misty eyed.
