She joins Triad, Star Boy, her brother, Kid Quantum, Cosmic Boy and Invisible Kid.  Superboy and M'Onel are in reserve in orbit. Chuck briefs Saturn Girl on the situation.  Gear gives the quick summary of the situation - over an hour since the tech blackout and the Legion Cadets

Violet is sprawled out across the plaza and nothing technological is working. People are beginning to panic.  Timber Wolf and Ultra Boy make an initial determination to help the people in the crowd until Tinya convinces Jo to take care of Winema. Brin takes care of the crowd's needs.  Umbra tells us the tech on Brainy's face is a personality inhibitor that's turned off, and Cham has broken something that has rendered his arm useless.   Brainy starts to lose it due to his cyberdeck failing, so Umbra slaps him into focus and puts him in a darkfield to organize his thou

Winema meets her daughter, Umbra, Ultra Boy, Chameleon, Violet, Brainiac 5.1 and Timber Wolf, all in nice civvie clothes. Tinya and Winema immediately are abrasive to Jo's amusement. In his palace, Thalon's son Vox wants to learn more, but Thalon is a harsh father and ruler, brutally torturing any who stand in his way.   Thalon steals inside a genetically secure chamber and it is revealed that Thalon's secret is that he's captured Wildfire across universes and is somehow siphoning off his energy to rule the land.  Vox plays at being a conqueror when he stumbles upon the Legionnaire rescue party: Shikari, Umbra, Chameleon, Invisible Kid and Karate Kid.  Vox turns and runs for help, evading the Legionnaires "Stealth" Squad. Released May 26, 2004 DC Comics, Color 23 Pages Notorious Part 2 Dan Abnett & Andy Lanning - Writers Chris Batista - Pencils Jay Lester - Inks Sno Cone - Colors Jared K Fletcher - Letters Stephen Wacker - Editor Synopsis RJ Brande is being tortured by Singularity to admit that the Legion is the source of the galaxy's suffering by being the source of Element Lad/Progenitor.  Refusing to break, Brande is sent back to his cell to rejoin Kinetix, Gates and Chameleon, all three bound by some kind of power inhibitors.  They are joined shortly by Garth. Gates and Cham think its a trick, but Brande and Kinetix (who seems to be speaking normally now instead of in ethereal phrasing) sense the truth.   Garth explains what happened and why he's there, but Cham has none of it.   The trap springs; the Espionage Squad has been with Garth the entire time.  Invisible Kid, Sensor, Apparition and Vi reveal themselves, dispatch the guards, and free their colleagues from the power inhibitors. Fletcher - Letters Stephen Wacker - Editor Synopsis Garth speaks with Gym'll about his current condition, unable to sleep and in crystalline body (and uniform) of Jan Arrah.  Everyone is scared of who he MIGHT become, even himself. He goes for a walk and finds several Legionnaires in the threshold room, with odd readings coming from the portal to the second galaxy.  A tattered and damaged M'Onel bursts through with a Kwai navigator, but they are immediately followed by a team of Credo (remember them?), including one Kwai, who kill M'Onel's navigator and attack the Legionnaires. The fight gets ugly, and Garth zaps a Credo who overpowers Umbra.  The rest of the Credo recognize Garth as the Progenitor and flee back through the portal.   Recovering, M'Onel gives us the backstory. They are on the hunt for something in Legion World, but hiding their real purpose being out in public with hazmat suits on which are just holoprojections that disappear as soon as they are out of view of others.  Ten minutes later, an older Cub noses in on their business and wants to help.  Chuck takes a shower in the Medlab, where Gym'll notes that the lab is impeccably clean. Superboy fights Darksied while the others handle the minions. The time barrier the older Darkseid begins to fail, possibly because he had some kind of a failsafe that only he knew about. The young Darkseid has no idea how to proceed.  Vi and Garth have an idea to go back a short period of time to stop Darkseid and go back 20 minutes to when the young Darkseid comes out of the boom tube. The foursome pops out, and Connor and Vi punch the young Darkseid back through the tube and follow him in. The rest of the Legion handles old Darkseid. The combined powers of Superboy, Kid Quantum's powers, Garth's electricity and Vi's brute force keep

We are privy to the forward march of time being dissolved, Etrigan, the Amazonians, Jonah Hex, all vanishing from history.   In the 31st century, what remains of the Legion, Kid Quantum, Vi, Chuck and Superboy determine they have less than an hour before the shock wave reaches them. On Apokalips, Old Darkseid welcomes his younger self, which is what is causing the time ripple. Rokk presses the attack, but old Darkseid holds the entire Legion in stasis with a gesture and starts to explain his plans.  He wants to be rejuvenated, but young Darkseid understand the implications of pulling him out of his time. Dark Orion arrives to dispatch "Clark" for leaving his post when Superboy and a few Legionnaires come to intervene; the farm was in a biodome in Smallville of the 31st century.  At the Legion world command deck, Saturn Girl, XS, Triad, Chuck and Gear monitor the situation in Smallville when Garth comes to join them.  XS shuffles Garth off to Imra, and Imra shuffles him out of the command deck.  He and Imra were supposed to visit Gym'll but Imra's busy due to the situation and Garth leaves to visit the doctor on his own. The pair of Legionnaires are able to stand toe to toe with Darkseid's servants until the boom tube arrives to take them back.  The minions retreat via the boom tube with Lyle in pursuit.  Unfortunately, the minions left a bomb in their wake.  Shortly, a large squad of Legionnaires arrives at the wreckage of the Time Institute, with Superboy making a splashy appearance.  We cut to Trudy Trusoe's
